Shining of Her Eyes
Lisanne Soeterbroek
Searching for the small and intimate. Introspection, a profound eye for detail, to try to connect with Bach, spiritually as well in a very earthy way. But then, with the surefooted persuasive power, crystal clear intonation and endless dynamic reach one would only associate with a well-esteemed concert master. Because, that's who we're dealing with: Lisanne Soeterbroek. First violin player of the Antwerp Symphony Orchestra and a genuinely experienced chamber music musician.
The resounding result: comfort and playfulness, and that's not a particularly easy task with Bach's 2nd and 3rd Partita and his 2nd Sonata. But this seasoned but still youthful violin player is fully able to cut right through your soul with this repertoire.
