Industrial Silence (1999) is the debut album by the Norwegian band Madrugada, and is considered one of the most influential Norwegian rock albums of the late 1990s.

The album blends dark, melodic rock with a raw and cinematic soundscape, carried by Sivert Høyem’s deep and distinctive vocals.

Tracks such as “Vocal”, “Electric” and “Beautyproof” highlight the band’s ability to create both intensity and vulnerability at the same time.

Industrial Silence established Madrugada as one of Norway’s most important rock bands and remains a landmark in Scandinavian alternative rock.
