Since the mid-1980s, American singer, guitarist and songwriter Doug MacLeod has been delighting the blues world with outstanding albums. His warm, soulful voice, virtuoso guitar playing and excellent storytelling have earned him not only a loyal fan base worldwide, but also several Blues Music Awards. For “Between Somewhere And Goodbye,” his sixth album for Reference Recordings, the artist, who is also extremely popular in audiophile circles, teamed up with producer Andreas Werne and sound engineer Joe Funderburk at Creative Workshop Studio in Nashville, as well as mastering engineer Sean Royce Martin from Reference Recordings.
