Run Baby Run Plus Newbeats

The second of Ace's three Newbeats reissues is built around their 1966 "Run Baby Run" album, featuring their huge UK hit single of the same name. As well as the album in it's entirety, it also includes a generous 14 bonus cuts originally released on 45s, from 1965-68. Until recently, tracks reissued from this album were only reissued in mono due to the MIA status of the stereo master tape. However, Ace gives the album it's first ever stereo reissue in full. A #12 US chart hit in 1965, "Run Baby Run" belatedly became a UK Top 10 single in 1971 after mass exposure on the early Northern Soul circuit.
