Time Is Right Shaw Woody

REMASTERED FROM ORIGINAL ANALOGUE TAPES. The album contains four splendid long tracks, among which the opening ‘Moment To Moment’ stands out, a soulful mid-range ballad that also offers Shaw's crisp, enveloping trumpet climbs to sharp, high registers, but with textbook grace and balance; the title track, also by Woody Shaw, is much more moody. ‘You And The Night And The Music’ is a dreamy, crescendoing fugue by pianist Mulgrew Miller and ‘Will Be Togheter Again’, gives back the ownership of the work and the command to Shaw.
