Animated adventure following the escapades of amateur explore Tad Jones (voice of Kerry Shale). Tad lives in Chicago and works in construction, but dreams of becoming a famous explorer like his hero Max Mordon (Adam Jones). His wish is granted when he takes the place of a professor on a flight to Peru to unlock the legendary Incan city of Paititi with the help of Mordon, Professor Lavrov (Mac Macdonald) and his daughter Sara (Ariel Winter).

Tad's new job is not as easy as he dreamed though as the group are pursued by henchman from the evil firm Odysseus Inc. who are also out to explore the lost city and be the first to find any treasures it may hold. Will Tad be able to overcome the distractions of working with Sara and his hero to battle the corporation and their evil tricks so they can reach the ancient city before it is lost forever?
