Ben Affleck stars in this US action thriller directed by Robert Rodriguez. Detective Danny Rourke (Ben Affleck)'s life is all but destroyed when his daughter, Minnie (Ionie Olivia Nieves/Hala Finley), is abducted. In therapy, Danny claims is he is ready to return to work after the tragic events, and is immediately thrown into a bizarre and dangerous case involving a suspicious man known as Dellrayne (William Fichtner) who is somehow able to manipulate strangers into doing his bidding by a process called Hypnotics.

While investigating an elaborate heist involving a bank robbery, Danny finds a photo of Minnie with instructions to find Dellrayne. How is Dellrayne connected to Minnie's disappearance and will Danny be able to find her and put a stop to this criminal mastermind?
