Margot Robbie stars as the eponymous fashion doll in this live-action adventure directed by Greta Gerwig. Barbie lives in Barbie Land, surrounded by all of her friends - also all called Barbie - and Ken (Ryan Gosling) and his counterparts. While thriving in a brightly-coloured dream world where everyone is happy and she can do anything she wants to, Barbie begins to question what her purpose is and what lies beyond her plastic existence in Barbie Land.

Determined to answer life's biggest questions, she sets off on a journey which will take her into the human world, where she soon learns that life as a woman isn't quite the same there as it is in Barbie Land... The all-star cast also includes Will Ferrell, America Ferrera, Issa Rae and Dua Lipa.
