In Scotland, married couple Eric and Beth (Alex Norton and Arabella Weir) live next door to their son Ian (Jamie Quinn) and his partner Gordon (Kieran Hodgson) on Latimer Crescent. Smith), the tight-knit households try to support each other through the highs and lows of life. In this series Colin is struggling after being dumped, Alan has an accident at work and Christine turns 69.
