Since José María Iribarren published Hemingway y los Sanfermines in 1970, the literature about the American writer has grown exponentially and many more facts about his life have come to light, while more and better access is available to documentary sources that help complete his life story, so today much more detail may be provided about the Nobel laureate's visits to Pamplona, and they may be placed in the context of the times in which he lived.
