The choice to go there for Madison McBride and her sister, Winter, was simple. They had no choice. Their parents were the chief designers of the first underwater city on the planet. They packed three suitcases each and said goodbye to every friend they had.

They traveled by helicopter to an isolated platform in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, then descended ever deeper by submarine until it was almost dark.
