In Birowl The Wrappings, we discovered ghosts. Now in PRODIGIOUS FORTUITY, we are forced into battles of faith as Drew faces scrutiny over recreating a droid in his Grandmother's image. The people of Brier Springs have problems learning to deal with droids. They fear them. And now that one has been created who appears to possess a soul and memories of a woman who has been dead for more than twenty years, the moral implications wreak havoc. Many of them still don't know about Phoebe and Sebastian; the two droids possessed by the spirits they found on Birowl. Jesse and Macha Mae bring further chaos when Jesse invites Macha to come check out the Courtier Collin, a man holding one of the highest titles in the diocese. Macha Mea wanted one good man. Jesse found him for her. Her father is not only angered by Drew recreating her mother but now he is furious with Macha Mae for seducing a Holy man. He makes himself look like a hypocrite in Leona's eyes as he publicly denounces Macha Mae. Vernon and Leona have issues neither wants to confront. The new Leona was made and programmed for Fred. As she remembers pieces of her past, she realizes, she isn't the only one in emotional turmoil. Somehow she must make peace with her past. They all need to find a way to carry on. There is about to become a division of faith as the Diocese confronts Courtier Collin Rossi as he stands by his faith and wife. Some try to remove him from his tabernacle. Other's side with him. They all will quickly learn that no one can destroy his faith. Rossi believes Macha Mae is a blessing having been sent by Piozzi. This is the beginning of a new religion. This story is filled with emotion. It has several intense moments ranging from anger to sexual expression. A drone that moves between high and low, to sexually charged. It forces you to feel the life. Where lies right or wrong?
