Is God in Control . . . of Everything? Carla Scarbrough Lefebvre

"Why? Why? Why?" Loss, tragedy, and suffering seem to be part and parcel of life on this broken planet, yet we are often ill-prepared to deal with them. Haunting questions probe deep into the very fabric of our inmost souls-questions we don't dare verbalize for fear of uncovering messy, unsolvable issues about the sovereignty and justice of God: -Why did this have to happen to me?-Why is there so much evil and suffering in the world? -How come bad things happen to good and innocent people? When faced with deep loss, we do our best to "move on" and act like everything is okay, but it's only an empty shroud. Our internal belief system has stripped us of the tools we need to find real peace and freedom. There is a universal principle that says: LIES ENSLAVE but TRUTH LIBERATES! In order to experience true, deep, and lasting freedom, the lies and misbeliefs must be rooted out and replaced with truth. Regardless of your situation-whether you are questioning God, need an explanation for your own pain and brokenness, or are trying to help a hurting friend-you need to know what's in this book. The raw, tough questions will be fairly and squarely addressed. No more bandaids for life-threatening wounds!
