"A Research Work": Impression Management (Im) Impact on Employee Career Growth Saba Ehsan

This Research Proposal investigates the impact of Impression Management (IM) on the employee career growth in banking sector. It does this by giving an overview of the literature on impression management and by thorough research on the impact of impression management both on organizational effectiveness and employee's efficiency. In this thesis, it was hypothesized that the use of one of the impression management tactics (self-promotion) is positively related to the organizational effectiveness. It is the first ever Research Work on Impression Management by any citizen of Pakistan.
