We are fortunate to live in relatively stable, prosperous, and free societies. Then why write this essay? As in many other domains of life, perfecting the organization of our community is an endless journey. We can constantly move toward this goal, but never reach it... A Better Democracy is a fresh take on the attainment of a direct, participative democracy.
