The Day family is thrown into disarray by a series of events that have put the reputation of the head of the family, Bobby Day on the line. A single act from his teenage years has come back to haunt him, and the fallout from this has already created a lot of far-reaching problems. for those who mean the most to him. It is up to him to act quickly before things reach the point of no return. Before he is able to sort things out, a tragic incident occurs which almost breaks him. He decides that maybe it is time to bring his son Gaz back into the fold, as the only remaining member of his family. The problem is that he and Gaz don't really know one another, and if the trust is not there, it could mean that it will not be plain sailing.
