Anthology (noun) a published collection of poems or other pieces of writing. Words-sewn together into a tapestry of stories-can transform lives, hearts, souls, and minds. Words possess the power to move the immovable, recount the indisputable, and bring life to the disreputable. Today's culture informs us that it requires a thousand words to equal a picture. In this book, we challenge that belief. A life story can be shared in a seventeen-syllable haiku. Deep moments of transformation and restoration can be painted throughout passages of ardor and strength-a river of words bringing healing, love, joy, and life. Some of these writings are lyrical, quietly forceful. Others are humorous and illustrate human folly, but all of them nourish the human soul. Take a bite of this book and keep chewing. Let the words bring strength, love, and beauty into your lives. This anthology is a powerful collection of stories and poems written by the women from the Christian writers group: Abba's Writers.
