Ovidio Guaita

Top Italian Hotels & Resorts 2017 Ovidio Guaita

Few places in Europe have attracted foreigners as Italy has. Since the times of Goethe's Italian Journey, followed by the aristocrats of half of Europe, the Peninsula has been the destination of pilgrimages of the young off-springs of the European Intelligentsia, artists, musicians and noblemen who came here to spend the winter. The "Englishmen" of Room with a View were really Americans, Russians, Germans and Poles. But it didn't matter. All of them, in the past as today, were fascinated with the vegetation, the climate, with the art and...why not, with the cuisine. We published this directory to offer an annotated and up-to-date instrument for those who want to have their trip in Italy, staying in the city, immersed in the green or at the seaside. The best properties among hotels and resorts have been chosen. All of them visited and evaluated because sometimes it is not only a question of price but rather attention to detail, passion and taste. And this can make the difference. Go beyond your expectations. Let yourself be led by your emotions for a stay that will never be more memorable.
