VIOLET SKY Forbidden Love Eve Marian

"For centuries we lived on the fringe of society, afraid of how our predator instincts would react to humans. Slowly a few stepped away from the shadows. Some even fell in love with humans but soon discovered the heartbreaking consequences of their union." - Hunter Durand.

I met Hunter Durand, a sexy but perplexing business tycoon, while on a business trip. I thought I'd never see him again...until he knocks on my door and claims that I'm the only one who can save his father's life. Reluctantly, I agree to help, and board a plane to Italy with him. Then just like that, my whole life changes.

I couldn't control my reaction when I first saw Michaela. It was primal, unexpected, and unlawful in my world. As heir to the Manticore Kingdom, I'm forbidden to be with someone like her. Our kind learned long ago that our instincts and our venom would kill a human. But that doesn't stop me from wanting her. When she is nearly shot, I realize I'm not just looking to save my father's life but to find a way to build one with Michaela - even if I must leave everything behind for her.
