Lina was my companion and partner in crime we did everything together, you never saw her without me and vice versa. She decided to accompany me home and on our way home, the usual road we took was blocked and we had to go cut through a Favela. We were very scared and held hands as we walked past all of the houses, that was the first time that I had ever gotten what I later found to be a sort of premonition alerting me of my power. I felt OFF. I felt this pull and down we both went, on the floor. "Lina! What are you doing?!" I yelled as I looked at her. I couldn't understand, my heart was racing, it felt like it would jump out of my chest, tears came down my face involuntarily. Blood! It was everywhere.
