Tributes Jauren Miller

I chose the title TRIBUTES for this second book of poetry to pay homage to people, places, memories and dreams. The people are teachers, coworkers, friends, strangers, artists and poets. The places are natural habitats that I or others have visited. The memories are those of childhood. The dream is a real dream expressed in the style of poet Richard Hugo in his book 31 Letters and 13 Dreams. There are other poems written in the styles of poets Mark Strand and Phil Levine to honor them. Finally there are poems included that pay tribute to first responders and to victims of senseless mass shootings and those going about their daily tasks at work who fell victim to the worst terrorist attack against America in our lifetime.
