Depression is the mental illness of the twenty-first century.

Hundreds of millions of people all over the world suffer from depression. The society experiences a communication chaos. Wonders of the atomic and technological age deepen the problem of information abundance.

In this novel, the author Nihal Mars described the isolation of two young people from society in a megalopolis. Two people are lonely in the big city. There is no desire in their lives, only obligation. They feel worthless and useless. They are bored, exhausted, worn out, both physically and spiritually, they have lost hope.

Alpay withdraws into his loneliness, and his frustration and melancholy don't go away but get more profound by day. Duygu is very reserved by nature, taking comfort in that. She takes care of stray animals and birds, she talks to them in her soul, she pets them. And between them, there is a pregnant Ginger cat, for whom Duygu brings food every day.

SOMETHING would be, wasn't or perhaps never will be, because the Moment that makes Fate materialize hasn't come yet. But the encounter between the two young people has already taken place in the astral plane. A tree leaf, a flower petal, a particle of dust that catches the eye can point to that materialized reality. Just be kind and gentle.

The Almighty gives everyone their soul's share. On an ordinary, gray day, a ginger cat brings Alpay and Duygu together. After that, the events unfold quickly, leaving them no time to think.

Not realizing what happened doesn't mean Nothing happened.

The story that begins with the anguish and agony of two young people has a happy ending. The author's message is that compassion and kindness will save the world.
