About the Author


LaJuan resides in Charlotte, North Carolina, with her two sons. She was born in Washington, D. C. and raised in Alexandria, Virginia. LaJuan was brought up in a family that cooked for a living. Her inspiration came from her grandparents. These recipes are a tribute and memory of growing up.
