The father-daughter relationship showcased in this book reminds us our parents are imperfect humans with their own traumas and tragedies to navigate.




Through the eyes of Arthur and Annette, we witness the dire consequences of suppressing one's insecurities and how much freedom is experienced when Arthur and Annette can openly acknowledge those insecurities to each other, and ultimately give them to God.
