Me and My Black Vagina Danielle Denise Whiteside

Inspired by Nikki Giovanni, Fiona Apple, and Margaret Atwood, this new author has carefully compiled a collection of poems and rants narrating her transformation from girl to woman. Overflowing with poems that tackle issues of race, femininity, sex, relationships and more, 'Me And My Black Vagina' truly has something for everyone. The contrast of rebellion and vulnerability are weaved through each page, taking the reader on an unabashed ride; a journey of a young black woman in America who longs to discover her place in society, claim her identity, and be true to her heart, mind and BODY. 'Me And My Black Vagina' invites you to, indulge, endure, and enjoy!
