Anna Kirsten G W Dalton

Growing up on a working farm in Denmark, Anna Jeppesen believes that her tenth birthday will mark the beginning of the most wonderful year ever. And at the start, it lives up to her hopes, bringing new kittens, secrets, and even a surprise from her older brother Thomas. But at the cusp of a world war, when tragedy cuts through the very heart of the Jeppesen family, Anna's faith begins to flounder. Will she ever find joy again? And does God still care about her--enough to notice the deepest desire of her heart? Based on the life of Anna Jeppesen Scheerer, "Anna" will delight young readers. Recommended for ages 7-13.
