Publisher Marketing: Imagine discovering your wife has been sleeping around for years. You confront her about it only to be asked, "So what are you going to do about it?" Then through the divorce with the kids in flux of two households, she moves them without your knowing two hundred miles away while you were out of town on business. You come home to an empty house with no notes, messages, or calls. You call your kids and hear from them that they prefer to live with their mom as it is "easier" and she needs them. You crumble to the ground in utter loss of your life's purpose, knowing your children are gone from your life forever. You contemplate killing yourself and even get the revolver from the safe, only to have God intervene and tell you to write. Write-write what? "It does not matter," God said. So I crawled to the kitchen table and wrote my first poem. After eight years and over two hundred poems later, all about my experiences, I decided to share with anyone who has the courage to read and feel the emotions I lived through. This book contains the real-life events of a man in the form of poems from the minute of attempting suicide to awakening of what life here on earth is really about. Starting from divorce, losing his children to an emotionally abusive wife, the financial downfall, betrayal from his brother and mother, and how he was guided to change. Each poem was handwritten, then typed into Word, labeled, and saved as he knew someday they were to be shared with the many others that have or are going through these same life struggles.
