In Your Own Back Yard: Birds, Bees and Flys - Oh My! B T Smith

Publisher Marketing: In Your Own Back Yard The book uses photographs I've taken from my own back yard and carefully chosen words to teach children of all ages about what they can discover in their own back yard. This series is called "Discovering Nature - Turn your backyard into a classroom" with wonderful full colour photographs and descriptions on each that are simple enough for early readers or for a parent to guide a child through. There are also additional pictures that provide more information to talk about with your child. Even the child in you can just look at the images and appreciate nature's beauty. This book illustrates the wonder of nature in our own back yard. Children are given a well-rounded understanding of creatures, both small and large in their own environment. Together we will learn about them, their habits and behavior and hopefully a new respect on how they benefit all of us. Featured are the following: *The amazing Bumble Bee *The important Honey Bee *The beautiful Butterfly *The lovely Robin *The Inquisitive Squirrel and more! This book (as with all my subsequent books) has a special purpose. It is to make a difference. There are several charities that have a special place in my heart. Each book that I write will go to different organizations that rely on our help to succeed. That is why a portion of the proceeds from my Children's books will go to the Cancer Society. I enjoyed creating this book and I even learned a few things along the way. Perhaps you will too! If you have a moment to leave a positive review, it would be kindly appreciated. Thank you kindly for purchasing In Your Own Back Yard, your support to a great cause is greatly appreciated.
