Bible Thoughts, the Old Testament: a View from a Common Man Mr Richard F Palcic

Publisher Marketing: Bible Thoughts, The Old Testament: A View from a Common Man is a common everyday man revealing his thoughts of the chapters, verses, and words as he reads through the Old Testament. It is an easy read through all the Books of the Old Testament. For most Christians, their understanding of the Old Testament is mostly centered on the major stories and personalities presented to us as children. The dramatic stories of a gallant young boy slaying a giant, an ark full of animals trying to survive the world's worst flood, and a million Jewish slaves fleeing Egypt are certainly well documented here. However, there are so many other stories in the Old Testament that will fascinate and intrigue you as well. This book has thoughts on most of them. If you haven't had a chance to read the Bible and still don't have that ambition because it is just too long, well then, this book is perfect for you. It is written for the common man or woman who would like to obtain a little more than basic understanding of the Old Testament. Bible Thoughts will give you a broader picture of the Holy Scriptures. You will learn more information about the earliest heroes and be introduced to many more truly great and inspirational heroes and heroines that make up the four thousand years of the Old Testament. These biblical stalwarts played a significant role in the establishment of God's Chosen People in Israel, the Promised Land.
