Shanghai Sin in Newport Beach Karl Zelinski

Publisher Marketing: If a modern day Holden Caulfield met the stunningly beautiful Chinese version of Lisbeth Salander, this might be the story! Clint Warren is a software salesman for Shafter Software in Southern California, and has just finished going through a messy divorce, after successfully working the local bar scene in Orange County, California for so many years. Clint then looks for love online and meets Cindy, a Chinese girl who is actually married, unbeknown to him. Once he finds out about Cindy's fate he gets introduced to Cindy's friend Sandy, another Chinese beauty from Shanghai who is also married, but to an extremely wealthy, shrewd Chinese businessman. This sets the stage for a wild love triangle which includes murder, intrigue, deceit, and passion, taking us from the ostentatious beaches of Newport Beach, California to the fast-paced financial center of China, Shanghai, and back. If Jon Stewart and Harold Robbins (or George Carlin and Henry Miller for that matter) wrote a novel together this could be it! Don't miss this very funny, witty, steamy, cynical, and observational page turner that exposes the truth about The OC and what is really going on in Southern California, and the extremely powerful influence coming from Asia. It is sexy, smart, and is the groundbreaking magnum opus novel from Orange County local Karl Zelinski.
