THE NEW PARADIGM IN SCIENCE AND SYSTEMS THEORY is a sampler with 40 bestselling science books reviewed. Among the reviewed authors are Fritjof Capra, Riane Eisler, Herbert James Campbell, Masaru Emoto, Amit Goswami, Valerie Hunt, Ervin Laszlo, Lynne McTaggart, Candace B. Pert, Dean Radin, Wilhelm Reich, Rupert Sheldrake, Michael Talbot, and William A. Tiller, to name only these. There were some important synapses in this long-term endeavor that connected the author with cutting-edge scientists and their research, along the way, from late adolescence till today. While the author did not receive much feedback from scientists, he did not feel discouraged to spread the 'new worldview' in science and systems theory through self-publishing his books and book reviews. The turning point happened, in the 1980s, with 'The Turning Point', by Dr. Fritjof Capra, a book that virtually changed the author's life, coming in like a comet in time of turmoil and inner and outer change. However, the author discovered that the Turning Point was residual in the sense that it did not cover what he considered the most important issues in global change to happen in the near future. Capra did not consider in his bestselling book the changes on the level of social and legal policy change needed in matters of human sexuality, sexual paraphilias, emotional flow and what the author came to call emosexual consciousness. The result was that, many years later, the author engaged in studying the perennial science of Feng Shui, the true nature of emotions, quantum physics and the nature of the quantum field. He found to his surprise that this 'new science' was actually preceded by centuries of alternative research in the West and wistful science traditions in the East and among native peoples that knew about the cosmic energy field, the human energy field and the interrelationship of all there is, as quantum physics as demonstrated now with much evidence. If we name this field zero-point field (Lynne McTaggart) or quantum vacuum (William Tiller) or else the quantum scale (Niels Bohr) doesn't really matter. What is important here is that 'science and religion merge' (Vidette Todaro-Franceschi) once again, after the Cartesian split in the 17th century that lead to a mechanistic lifeless science that had but rudimentary knowledge about living systems and the interconnectedness of all-that-is.
