It's almost Christmas and Blue Moon is playing on the record player. All of the friends and relatives have gathered to spend Great Aunt Dora's eighty-sixth birthday with her. Blue Moon is the song that resounds with her like no other because it is tied to the love of her life, Eddie. No one has heard the story of her second husband Eddie and Aunt Dora before but on this occasion, she tells her story and there's not a dry eye in the room. This is the final chapter of Aunt Dora's life as she has recently been diagnosed with cancer, but she looks forward to dancing with her Eddie once again under their Blue Moon.
