Jewish Christians were forcing circumcision and Mosaic Law Keeping on Gentiles during the days of the Galatian church (see Acts 15:1-4). Paul deals with the error by writing epistles to the churches. The book of Galatians exposes the false doctrines of mixing things with truth that does not belong. The book is valuable to the student of truth because it explains how error is to be handled in the church.
