After the explosion, Tony, Mol and the other strangers are neck-deep in rising water. With cheeks pressed against the roof and filthy ripples lapping their nostrils - death is calling. Tony pulls a brick free and sees, how could this be, but they are deep in outer space. Another victim, Shaun the racist, is trapped elsewhere. Rubble pins him spread-eagled, and he wets himself. Rats may be intent on consuming him, little by little, starting with his finger-ends.
