Out of Time Janet Behrens Houska

The excitement of exploring the caves of Kentucky soon loses its appeal when the Hawkins family becomes hopelessly lost and stumbles into an old Indian legend. After a harrowing 24-hours underground, they are rescued from the limestone labyrinth only to discover that their saviors are outlaws from another century. Follow the adventure as they learn to survive in a bygone era -- finding friends, finding love, and finding a courage they didn't know they possessed. Though one burning question remains... can they find their way home?
