A war over who should rule it, on one end there are immortals that want to rule the world and subjugate the humans. On the other are those that want to keep the status quo. During this time, one immortal (Aquentis) is taking his beloved human wife (Laurel) to the doctor and on the trip, he tells her the history of his life. He also tells her how the Vampires, werewolves, shifters, and fay came into existence, along with the people in history he has met. Upon her death, it is found out that she was poisoned. When Laurel dies the war breaks out in full. Terra the second oldest Immortal wants to be made Queen and rule over all will he be able to stop her before she subjugates the mortal world.
