Polarity (Polarity Series) (Volume 1) Susan Meraki 第2 版

Susie, an austere college student, frequently crosses paths with Dan, the popular oy-next-door. He?s curiously at the right place at the right time, effortlessly helping complete strangers in the most amazing ways. Susie develops an interest in Dan, but he appears too distracted to notice ? unbeknownst to Susie, he?s too busy saving her life.

After several strange events that are too coincidental to be just luck, Dan reluctantly informs her that she has unknowingly been targeted by two rival clairvoyant factions that have been engaging in a lethal, unseen conflict since the beginning of mankind. Meticulously keeping a low profile, the factions cleverly spawn hundreds of discreet actions to alter the future to meet their ambitions. Susie learns quickly that there is much more going on in our everyday lives behind the scenes ? so carefully interwoven that no one notices.

Involuntarily thrown into their violent conflict, Susie?s destiny is sealed by an extraordinary convergence of events set in motion since the moment she met Dan.

There is no fate. There is no free will. There is only something that?s best described as somewhere in-between?
