Texas Rein (Volume 1) Becky Rodgers Boyette 第1 版

A STORY BIG AS TEXAS... An aging gentleman rancher, his wayward daughter, an up and coming trainer?all with dreams of gold and their hopes hinged on one extraordinary Quarter Horse colt? Wrong again - the story of Cassie Roberts? life. Once a golden rodeo queen, Cassie left Texas at eighteen, followed the wrong boy to all the wrong places, and ended up a single mother on the East Coast. Terrified of hometown humiliation and her father?s disappointment, Cassie seeks solace in glitzy beach nightlife and wealthy eligible bachelors. Until ?the call.? Some crazy nonsense about Reining becoming an Olympic sport, and her dad?s home-raised Quarter Horse foal destined for greatness. Hampered by impending back surgery, Marvin Roberts begs his daughter?s help to run the ranch. Unable to refuse, Cassie gathers her suitcase and her son, Sam, and faces her worst fear ? going home. When she meets her father?s horse trainer, Chase Eversoll, an ?aw shucks? cowboy who looks like George Strait, Cassie wonders if she dares to start over. If she dares to dream again. If she can reconcile with the father she disappointed and win the heart of the only man she?s ever loved. A little red stallion might just prove the key to it all. Maybe all Cassie needs?maybe all three of them just need?a little faith and healing TEXAS REIN.
