This Core Set of Statecraft: The Political Card Game contains over 200 game cards, 6 player tracker mats, 36 tracker cubes, and incumbent market, detailed rules booklet and illustrated card organiser insert. Statecraft is a strategic game of political intrigue where players take the role of a party leader in one of a possible 200,000 game worlds (generated by a series of varied supporter groups, scenarios and leader personalities). Players vie for the support of each demographic group by developing a manifesto of policies that reflect the ideas most favoured by those groups, carefully attempting to please some without putting off others. It's not all that simple, though, as players must withstand the constant barrage of political events that will throw a spanner into their carefully engineered plans.
