More Monsters & Sprites EP Skrillex

Overview Following the hugely successful independent release of 'Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites', electronic visionary, Skrillex, released his follow up EP, 'More Monsters and Sprites' through Big Beat/Asylum Records. It is now available for the first time on 12" vinyl. The EP includes three brand new original tracks and four remixes of 'Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites' - the first ever dubstep song to reach the #1 spot on the main Beatport chart. During that same week, 8 of the Top 10 tracks in Beatport's Top 100 were by Skrillex. Skrillex, also known as Sonny Moore, describes his music as "a mix of dubstep, electro and glitch all thrown together", all of which is reflected in this EP. His previous release, 'Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites', immediately climbed to #1 on iTunes Dance Album Chart (in the US), when it first dropped back in December 2010. Not only was Skrillex named as Billboard Magazine's 'One To Watch' for the Electronic Music genre but his unique style has lead to becoming highly sought after for remixes. He has delivered commissioned remixes for A-List artists such as the likes of Lady Gaga ('Bad Romance' & 'Alejandro'), La Roux ('In For The Kill') and Black Eyed Peas ('Rock That Body') to name a few. Skrillex's You Tube channel has racked up over 750 million views, with the official video for the EP track 'First of the Year (Equinox)' having near 89 million views alone. World domination seems an easy feat for this 23 year old.
