Mutual Musik was founded by the musician Johannes Beck and the graphic designer Fine Heininger – also known as the DJane Fine Musique. With mutual music they create a platform for their very own perspective on current club music. Inspired by different musical styles, they realize their most personal passions and visions and impress the audience with such listening experiences. The focus of attention is the interaction, each of the people taking part have their specific capabilities and are enriching the existing order. Shared ideas are interwoven to create new sound compositions. At MUTUAL 01 (Split EP) Johannes Beck (Kann Records/Leipzig) and Dürerstuben, a new discovery from Berlin underground are published. The artwork of this split-EP reflects the concept of the label. The musicians of the Record are mutually intertwined in an endless flight movement – so that the two sides of the record are intertwined musically and visually. On the one side of the Split-EP Johannes Beck is kidnapping us with his track „Virgin Vibrations“ into a melancholy dance, in which self evident pathos is taking us to a on a tour of moving worlds. His second track “Morgenrottänze” (morninglight-dance) is postulating about being a creature of the night and dancing through it, straight across the invisible border at dawn. On the other side „Koka Banana“ breathes the unmistakable spirit of the Dürerstuben – a mix of their typically bright, funky grooves with simultaneously demanding music. With their kind of performing music, they caused the last months with a lot of noise on the Berlin dance floors!
