Man

Merthyr Tydfil, once the largest towns in Wales, is the hometown of the Welsh prog-rock group Man. The band from South Wales whose style is a mixture of American West Coast Psychedelia, progressive rock, and blues are renowned for the extended jams in their live performances. 'Two Ounces Of Plastic With A Hole In The Middle" is somewhat more diverse then there first long play, this platter has some hard blues rock along with some ethereal prog rock. Fantastic dual guitars make this a nice album and well worth owning by prog-heads and rockers alike. Highlights of the album are the progressive piece "Parchment And Candles" and the blues-rockers "It Is As It Must Be" and "Spunk Box".
