"Eternal Devastation", Destruction's 2nd album, was released in 1986. The album is more grown up and more mature than its predecessor - still fast though, of course, but with more tempo changes and some progressive elements. It is widely praised for its innovative and ingenious riffing and soloing. The sound of "Eternal Devastation" is definitely ass-kicking: it is sharp and clear, but also very abrasive and ultra-aggressive.
