Import only double-disc collection featuring three complete studio albums (three of the four she recorded for RCA), Emergency Ward-In Concert (1972), It is Finished (1974) and Black Gold (1969) all of which are long out-of-print in the US. Of all the major singers of the late 20th century, Nina Simone was one of the hardest to classify. She recorded extensively in the soul, jazz, and pop idioms and this collection features several of her rarest, sought-after and least heard albums. Highlights include her 18-minute version of 'My Sweet Lord', 'Funkier than a Mosquito's Tweeter', 'To Be Young Gifted and Black'. BMG. 2005.
