American action comedy in which a small town is terrorised by a demon which overcomes people and consumes their bodies in order to carry out diabolical acts. When three cases of homicide crop up, the FBI swarm in to investigate the cause and catch the perpetrator of the awful crimes. It soon becomes apparent, however, that every time the demon is killed, it then embodies the person who killed it and in turn causes a vicious circle.

Can they destroy the evil spirit and break the cycle?
