Jack O'Connell and Laura Dern star in this American drama. Following the death of his three young daughters, Todd Willingham (O'Connell) is accused of arson and put on death row. Despite protesting his innocence, the authorities seem adamant that he is guilty.

When he is paired with playwright Elizabeth (Dern) as part of a prison outreach initiative she believes he is innocent and does all she can to have him exonerated.
