Romantic drama from the creators of the successful television series 'This Life' focusing on the contorted love lives of seven London friends. Jules has just become engaged to her artist boyfriend Will, her friend Daphne has begun dating Frank, Graham is having trouble with his model boyfriend George, while Billy is single and still looking for love. When Billy's attempts at romance founder - he would rather mouth the words 'elephant juice' than say 'I love you' - he tries visiting a prostitute, but this too comes to nothing.

Meanwhile, Jules begins to doubt her feelings for Will, and Daphne becomes pregnant - but isn't sure whether Frank is the father.
