Ben Affleck stars as a troubled high school basketball coach in this American sports drama. Alcoholic construction worker Jack Cunningham (Affleck) was a high school basketball star who rejected the offer of a full scholarship to play at the University of Kansas and turned his back on the sport. When he is given the chance to coach his former team at Bishop Hayes, who haven't made the play-offs in almost 30 years, Jack strives to improve the struggling team's fortunes while attempting to finally turn his life around and come to terms with his past.
