Todd Solondz directs this blackly comic drama. Recently divorced from her jailed paedophile husband Bill (Ciaran Hinds), Trish (Allison Janney) is about to remarry Harvey (Michael Lerner) and looks forward to having him as a 'normal' father figure to her two sons. But when Bill is released from prison and the boys finally meet their future stepfather, the family must decide whether to forgive or forget.
