Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools Of Destruction Sony Computer Entertainment

The sixth instalment in the Ratchet & Clank series is a platform shooter, with heroes Ratchet & Clank saving the planet Kerwan.

The heroes answer a call from Captain Qwark who needs help defending his home planet, which has been invaded by an army of robotic commandos. The two plucky characters attempt to help before realising they are outnumbered, so flee and decide to find out more about the leader of this invasion. The leader is the crown prince of the Cragmites, and the last Lombax (revealed to be Ratchet), is charged with stopping him from taking control of the universe.

Players control both Ratchet & Clank, and can use the games exotic set of weaponry to take out robotic foes on their quest to find out what the invaders want and how to stop them. The developers, Insomniac Games, are famous for creating diverse weapon sets, and this is game is no different. For example, weapon projectiles can be directed using the SixAxis controls.

This title sees Ratchet & Clank trying to save the universe again using their extensive weapon set, all whilst learning more about the past of these popular characters.
